Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Extended and Redesignated for Syrians

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that Temporary Protection Status (TPS) for nationals of Syria has been extended until March 31, 2015.  Be advised that potential beneficiaries of this extension must re-register for TPS before August 16, 2013.  

 
Further USCIS has redesignated Syria for TPS, which means that Syrian nationals present in the United States on June 17, 2012 who do not currently have TPS, may now apply.  Be advised that potential beneficiaries of this redesignation must register for TPS before December 16, 2013.
