The Department of State has released the June 2014 Visa Bulletin, which can be found by CLICKING HERE.  The Visa Bulletin is published monthly by the Department of State and indicates who may apply for an immigrant visa based on their preference category and priority date.  For a detailed explanation of the visa bulletin, priority dates, and the numerical limitations of immigration visas, please visit: http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/Immigrant%20Visa%20Control%20System_operation%20of.pdf.

Of note in this Visa Bulletin is that as of June, there will be a retrogression of the Family F2A (spouses and children of permanent residents) category to May 1, 2012.  There was also some retrogression in the Employment 3rd and Other Workers categories.

If you have any questions, or think that your priority date is now, or may be, current in the near future, please contact one of the immigration lawyers at LaFountain and Wollman, P.C.
